Clarification to Invitation for Prequalification of contractors for

REMEDIATIONHYDROCARBON IMPACTED SITES IN OGONILAND, NIGERIA


The Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project [HYPREP] wishes to issue the following additional information/clarification to its earlier advertisement published in The Guardian, Daily Trust, Ogoni Star & The Tide of Friday 30th March 2018; The Economist of Saturday 31st March 2018; and the Federal Tenders Journal of Monday 2nd April 2018, entitled “Invitation for Prequalification of Contractors for Remediation of Hydrocarbon Impacted Sites in Ogoniland, Nigeria”.

Scope of Work: The works shall be executed in lots, each of which shall involve the remediation of 5,000m3 to 100,000m3hydrocarbon polluted soil, and an indeterminate volume of similarly polluted groundwater.

Tender: All references to “tender”, “tender documents” and “tenderers” in the advertisement shall respectively mean “prequalification”, “prequalification documents” and “prequalification applicants”.
Submission Date: The time and date for submission of prequalification documents is hereby extended to no later than1200 hours (UTC+1:00) of Monday 30th April 2018.


Mandatory Requirements: The third paragraph of this section is amended to read as follows: “Non-Nigerian companies wishing to respond to this advertisement may, in lieu of Items 3g, 3h, 3i, 3j, 3k & 3l, provide evidence of compliance with statutory requirements to participate in public procurements in their country of domicile”.

All other information in and requirements of the above referenced advertisement remain unchanged.Contractors and consortia intending to respond to the above referenced invitation for prequalification are therefore advised to take notice of the above listed additional information/clarification in preparing prequalification documents.
